Learn About Our Consignment Policy

When you bring your unwanted goods to Home Again Consignment, Inc., you can rest assured knowing that you'll be treated fairly. We are here to answer any of your questions promptly and courteously and willing to handle estate sales and purchases.

With our current rates, the consignee receives 50% and the store receives 50% of the consignment contract price for all items consigned.

Markdown System

  • After 30 days - 15% markdown off original price
  • After 60 days - 25% markdown off original price
  • After 90 days - contract will expire
  • Items must be claimed prior to 90 days
  • After 90 days, the items become the property of Home Again Consignment, Inc.
  • Consignees are responsible for keeping track of the expiration dates of their items
  • Items must be clean and salable. Chipped and/or damaged items will be returned or donated
  • Consignees may bring in pictures of large furniture for Home Again Consignment, Inc. to see
  • Consignees will be required to sign a precontract agreement. Prices will be determined based upon condition and quality of items

Consignment Terms and Conditions

Home Again Consignment, Inc. accepts antiques, furniture, artwork, accessories, glassware, china, collectibles, and jewelry. We do not accept appliances, TVs, stereos, or broken or chipped items.

All items must be clean, complete, and in good working order, not in need of refinishing or reupholstering. Exceptions are made for some antiques.

Items will be priced by Home Again Consignment, Inc. staff in agreement with the precontract agreement. We have the right to reject items we feel are not salable in our market.

It is the consignee's responsibility to return to sign and check on the contract. We will only call if you have items to be returned back to you; otherwise it is the consignee's responsibility to return within five (5) days to sign the final contract.

Items may be brought in for consignment anytime during consigning hours, which are Tuesdays through Saturdays. Any item may be removed from the floor by the consignee after it has been consigned for a minimum of thirty (30) days. The consignee is responsible for picking up items from the sales floor before the expiration date. Home Again Consignment, Inc. does not contact the consignee.

Home Again Consignment, Inc. has their own truck, and on any purchases of furniture we do a free delivery. On any furniture you consign we do a free pick up .  

Home Again Consignment, Inc. is not responsible for any loss or damage to any item(s). Although we do our best to protect a consignee's property, we suggest the consignee check with his or her insurer to assure proper coverage.

Payment Policy

Checks in payment for items sold will be ready on the tenth of each month for items sold during the preceding month. Consignment checks will be held for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of issuance and, therefore, must be picked up before they expire. Home Again does not notify consignees of the issuance of a payment check.
